Procter Automotive opened its doors in May of 1947 at 1325 Butternut St. in Abilene where it is still located today. Since that day Procter Automotive has grown into an automotive icon with customers traveling from all over the state and further to have someone they trust to take care of all their automotive needs. When this company started it was just one man, his tools and a 3 bay shop, but today has grown to over 20 employees and 26 bays. Procter Automotive is Abilene's oldest and most respected full service automotive company providing complete auto repair, transmission repair, frame off restorations and pre-owned vehicle sales and finance.
