Extremely friendly people who do their best to offer you the service you need at a price you can afford! I'll be making a trip out here anytime I need something done on my vehicle.

We had quite a few issues with my wife's GMC Acadia. Suspension, powersteering rack & pinion, a door cable, windshield washer pump etc. We used Proctor because of good reviews, and they did not disappoint! Vick was super helpful and friendly every time (even when I called in 5 minutes before they closed to ask questions lol) They handled all of the phone calls and approvals with our PITA car warranty. He even lined up a rental car for us. The work was performed extremely fast, and he kept us updated every step of the way. We will definitely use them again in the future. Keep it up guys!

I own an automotive repair business in North Little Rock Arkansas. My son goes to ACU in Abilene. I sent my son to get his repairs and Vic took care of him. Very professional. As a shop owner you always get weary of where you want to send your kids. And I can promise you he's our go-to guy! They did not overcharge us. It was fair pricing an excellent service.

Procter was recommended to me by a guy at O'Reilly; and, being new to Abilene, I took his advice, called and got my truck in, for what I hoped would be a simple fix. As it turned out, my clutch was in dangerously, very bad shape and needed to be replaced. I was informed, every step of the way, about what all needed to be done, the cost and a good estimate of the time required to make it road worthy, again. The guys at Procter are friendly, courteous and professional, they even gave me a ride home until my truck was fixed; and, they came back to my house, to give me a ride back to their shop. They not only took care of my truck's problem, in one day; they cared and took care of me, too; very nice people! I knew the cost of the repairs, including tax, before I returned to pick up my truck; but, it wasn't until I got home and looked at the billing details, that I learned just how nicely, different, Procter is from other mechanic shops. Their charge for labor was more than fair; and, half the price other mechanics have charged me in the past; and, their work is guaranteed for one year! I couldn't have asked for better service or nicer, very informative guys. Finally, after decades of mechanics taking advantage of me, I have found a shop that does, not, take advantage of a woman; I, highly, recommend them; and, will return to them whenever I have any problem.

Sandi, it's so great to know that you were recommended to us by someone at O'Reilly. What's more, I'm delighted you found everything from the team's repairs to their assistance exceptional. It was a pleasure taking care of you and your truck's clutch, and giving you a ride home and back to the shop when our work was finished wasn't a problem at all. Again, thank you so much for all the kind words and the support, and if you ever need anything at all in the future, please don't hesitate to let us know. Till next time! -Chris R. Everyone at Procter Automotive are friendly and very knowledgeable. They did a great job on fixing the cooling system on my 1989 Corvette. I'd recommend them to anyone needing work on their vehicle no matter what is wrong with it or the make or model of it. Thanks Procter. I had good things to say about Procter when they worked on my Corvette, but last week I had them fix an oil leak and fuel leak on my F250. When I got it back the $93.36 fuel bowl drain valve they charged me for was leaking a big stream of diesel. It was too late to take it back to them that day and leaking to bad to drive it so I purchase a new one and put it on myself and it solved the leak. I called them this morning and told them the problem and all Billy could say was "I'm sorry it happen". That was it. I'm out $93.36 for them to put on a faulty valve (looking at the one I took off I don't think it was a new one) and another $35 for the one I bought and all I got was a "I'm sorry". So my thoughts are if you have Procter do work for you have them give you the old parts they say they replaced and check everything before you leave their place.

These people are so kind. Had an emergency that they helped me out with and got me back on the road. So nice to see that there’s still great mechanics that don’t take advantage of a crisis.

My Subaru had an issue with the rear struts and shocks. I am new to town and everyone I asked advised me to check out Procter. They are very professional and very nice. The turn around would've been pretty quick but there was an issue with a part they had to order in. Otherwise they did a great job.

So, I got pulled over TWICE by the local Abilene Dudley DoRights within a span of ten minutes for a headlight that was out. Apparently they had put out an APB to pull over the dangerous Toyota Camry with California license plates and a missing headlight. (The crusading crime fighter told me it was the latter problem for which I was pulled over, but I suspected the former folly of the license plates was the real crime.) I Yelped auto repair shops and found Procter automotive. I got there about 7:15 am, and they had me on the road by 8:00 am, and for half of what I was prepared to spend. So if you have the misfortune of being in Abilene and harassed by the Abilene PO-lice, I highly recommend Procter automotive for their part in keeping Abilene safe from rampant crime committed by visiting Cooper HS graduates with license plates from that stronghold of leftist ideas: California.Told me it was the latter problem
